The Wessex Negroni No.1 | 50cl | 27.7% ABV

The Wessex Negroni No.1 was created in Wiltshire in 2019 as our centenary tribute to the world-famous Negroni, first created in Florence in 1919 for Count Camillo Negroni.

Our version finally saw the light of day after plenty of enthusiastic – and occasionally rather messy – tasting sessions across Wessex.

It combines equal measures of:

Ramsbury Gin from Wiltshire – 40% ABV
Bramley & Gage Sweet Vermouth – 18% ABV
Campari – 25% ABV

The result is a bold, bittersweet and beautifully balanced ready-to-enjoy Negroni.

Serve over a large ice cube with a sliver of orange peel, or lengthen with Cava or Blanc de Blancs.

There are also three other Wessex Negronis for those who prefer vodka or a drier vermouth.
