About Us
Giles Wareham came back to the UK in 2004 after 18 years living overseas in Europe, the Middle east and Far east.
He then set out on a voyage discovering the West Country.
This initially covered the country side, local music and cider festivals!
He lived in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire and had hands-on experience running pubs in Christian Malford and Biddestone before embarking on selling local produce at markets under the Best of Wessex banner.
Over time the emphasis shifted totally into drink and the continuing Wessex exploration found smaller high quality distillers.
Over the past five years he has developed a range of full strength Wessex cocktails which are proving very popular amongst those people who understand and appreciate true quality.
It’s a wonderful ongoing adventure..
