I've drunk quite a few brands of rum over 40 plus years and this has to be one of the best for taste and value. I'm now on my third bottle and hope there will be many more.
This is a lovely smooth vodka, that packs a punch when neat over ice and goes well with any mixer to make long drinks or cocktails. Really good to know of the providence of all ingredients is from the single Estate in Wiltshire. Great job.
We imbibed both the No.1 and No.3 Wessex Negroni over Christmas, and never was there a more apt and interesting liquid to celebrate the yuletide. When we closed our eyes it was as if we were peregrinating the streets of Florence on our honeymoon once more, only to open them and realise we were sitting in the kitchen, staring out at the bleak and misted Marlborough Downs. Just the ticket for those harking after some continental escapism at a time when even Hungerford is out of bounds. Ten points to The Best of Wessex. Bravo!
This is a lovely version of the negroni. Beautiful on its own but we t’d it up with an orange tonic for a longer drink and it was delicious. A good buy.
